A life-long equestrian and animal enthusiast, I love bringing joy to people by creating portraits of their pets (and sometimes their children too!). I combine my technical background in Medical and Veterinary Illustration with the ability to capture the subject’s personality and spirit, and enjoy working in a variety of mediums.
Located in horse country, just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, I’m happy to meet you in person or set up a photo shoot. With great technology at-hand, it’s easy to work with you regardless of location. We’ll work together to determine the best layout as well as the right medium and style so that the portrait looks great your space. We’ll work closely throughout the project so that you can see the work in progress and give feedback. Once the portrait is complete, I can also provide guidance with framing.
Please contact me if you’re interested in commissioning a portrait or purchasing any of my art.
About Me: Growing up, I could be found in one of two places - hanging out in my Mother’s art gallery or in a horse barn. I received a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T) in Medical Illustration. In the years that followed, I worked as a professional illustrator then earned a Master’s Degree from R.I.T in Computer Graphics Design. I worked as a Designer and Art Director. Then, as careers go, ended up as VP Marketing and Software Product Management – and also on an airplane every week. I ditched that to start my own company, hook up with long-time friends at the Iconfactory, and get back to my creative roots through my art.
